The secure QR code technology is compatible with majority of printing technologies that provide industrial level of quality and stability with min 600dpi resolution.
The following technologies have been extensively tested:

• Flexo [2400, 2540, 4000 dpi]
• Offset [2400, 2540]
• Rotogravure [500+ l/cm]
• Digital presses [600, 812.8, 1200 dpi]

Technologies as laser engraving, inkjet are subject to evaluation. Thermal printers or home inkjet printers do not provide sufficient quality.

Registration provides you access to the self-service cloud based Printer Portal and Academy content. You will:

• in GOLD+ you will receive your Calibration & QA Device
• You will be able to create, calibrate and manage your printing Equipments and Substrates
• You will be able to generate and manage the Work Orders with the Printing Data

To achieve desired security and to enable copy-detection and authentication function each Substrate + Equipment needs to be Calibrated.

Download the Proof-Sheet on Printer Portal. Use the QA Device to scan the calibration sheet.
System will automaticaly decide for the best paramteres for your Substrate + Equipment combination.

Now you are ready for live production.

Differently than usual QR codes, Secure QR codes need to be integrated into the artwork by the Printing Partner just before printing. For each BRAND/SKU, generate assigned Work Order with secure QR code and download the data through your Printer Portal.

Replace FPO by Secure QR code in the artwork through your pre-press process.
‍DO NOT DOWNSAMPLE / DO NOT HALFTONE.

Print the prepared printing data and make to Quality Control sampling scans using the QA Device. Confirm the printed volume and close the Work-Order.
